I began taking landscape and city photos just for fun but over the years endeavoured to improve my skills and kit. After going to a few portrait exhibits I became interested in portrait photography and decided to explore this aspect of photography.I studied and work as a singer and therefore realise the importance of having good promotional materials and headshots so offered to take photos for numerous friends in order to develop my portrait skills.

I usually spend at least two to three hours working with people to take a headshot. This way breaks can be taken to discuss what is needed and the subject isn't made to feel under pressure to 'pose'. In my experience the last few photos in a shoot are always the most natural and relaxed so I'm happy to spend the time we need.
